Nature gears women for motherhood and nurturance, men for labor and competition. Schlafly's basic premise is that feminism has wrecked the formerly complementary worlds of men and women. Each thinks relations between men and women are out of whack and only getting more so. Hacker, they would insist, is an authentic researcher, Schlafly a politically incorrect scourge of liberals.
